For the SkillsUSA Pin Design Competition, you must create an original design for a pin that represents Louisiana. I chose to design an alligator (the state reptile) depicted as a chef, stirring a pot of gumbo (the official state cuisine). This illustrates the culture surrounding food in Louisiana. I won silver in the state competition.
