「墨戲仙草」為文創包裝設計作品,藉由改變容器形狀,使仙草凍表面形成一幅未完成的立體國畫——《富春山居圖》,再由奶精的「白」滲入仙草凍的「黑」,讓虛實相生的東方美學,經包裝設計流進台灣特色甜品,最終呈現一幅完整的國寶水墨畫。黑因白彰、白因黑顯,奶精從「配角」化為「聚焦」,穿梭仙草凍起伏之間,質地特性帶來豐富的黑灰白階調,傳遞出「留白完整了詩意」的意象,讓山水間的雲霧繚繞、光影流動,伴隨台灣滋味,從博物館走進生活。

「墨戲仙草」(Mò xì xiān cǎo) is an art piece that plays with traditions of Taiwanese dining culture to make the national treasures appear in people’s everyday life. By shaping the container,  xiān cǎo, a jelly-liked dessert, becomes an un-finished ink-painting. The consumers can slowly pour the creamer, completing the painting, which originally was added to give extra flavor. Not only does the creamer complete the painting but it also lets people enjoy the moment when ink-black meets pure white. The colors highlight each other, the creamer no longer plays a role as a supplement of the dessert but stands in the spotlight instead. Pure white fills in the gaps between the landscaped-like surface of the black jelly, bringing out spectacular grey tones using contrast. It shows us the meaning of a traditional proverb of ink painting - “leaving blank to fulfill poeticness”. The flowing clouds, lights, shades, mountains and waters on the popular local snack - xiān cǎo, walk into our life and shrink down the distance between common people and Taiwanese national treasures.
《富春山居圖》是元朝畫家黃公望的作品,創作於1347年至1350年,以浙江富春江為背景,山和水的布置疏密有致,墨色濃淡乾濕並用,用墨秀潤淡雅,但氣度不凡、極富變化,是黃公望的代表作,獲後世讚譽為「畫中之蘭亭」、「山水畫第一神品」,為中國十大傳世名畫之一。
 
“Dwelling in the Fu-Chun Mountains” is a work of Yuan Dynasty painter Huang Gongwang. It was created from 1347 to 1350. With Fuchun River in Zhejiang as the background, the layout of the landscape on the painting is perfectly organized and the atmosphere is superbly harmonious. This extraordinary work is Gongwang’s masterpiece and praised as one of the top ten famous paintings in China.
