This is the finalised version of my design entry for “My Maritime Impressions” T-Shirt Design Competition. The concept was inspired by Singapore's rich history in its trading port. As Singapore is well known for its strategic location in maritime routes, my illustration depicts how it was during it's early years of maritime trade.
I wanted the viewer to reflect on the amount of progress the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore has made over the years.
As part of Singapore Marinetime Week 2013, my illustration works were shortlisted and exhibited at Plaza Singapura, Singapore from the 1st to 7th April 2013.
