The Slide Lamp is a desk lamp created from a minimal number of materials and by simple construction. It is built out of a single piece of routered hardwood, either mahogany or oak, and mounted to a base of cast aluminum, either brushed or anodized. Turning it on and adjusting it to the desired brightness requires little effort and attention as its operation is fast and intuitive. Its purposeful but intriguing design inspires both efficiency and imagination. It is most at home on a creative/productive desk.
