We were asked to create 'A portrait of contemporary youth' in a single shot. During the research I formed a short thesis: — “Youth does not appreciate life“. Youth experiencing oxygen deprivation in a society overloaded with information and temptations. Consumption becomes informational only. I wanted to put myself in a situation when everything dissolves and you are left alone with an overwhelming feeling of thirst for life, and nothing else matters. I have tried to show the face of a frightened man clinging to life. So I tried to make a video with the subsequent release of strangulation. But the result was different and too straight forward. So I decided to choose an intermediate point to create more sub-texts.
