SYNOPSIS
A 20-hour race to design the ultimate ticketing app.
The effort was well rewarded: the prototype ended up being the hook for selling the company.
BACKSTORY
The client—one of the hottest startups in the entertainment industry—asked me to create a quick-and-dirty functional prototype to pitch to new investors and clients.
METHODOLOGY
Given critical time constraints, we focused our efforts on reviewing the current flow and proposing a new one that reduced friction at every touchpoint of the funnel.
Then we created a low-fidelity prototype that was the starting point for the team to proceed with changes to the current platform.

RESULTS
After almost 20 hours of nonstop work, we had a simple-but-functional prototype that perfected the sales process, reducing friction from eleven to five funnel steps.
In 2016, the company was effectively sold to C3 Presents (part of Livenation Group). Mission accomplished!
