Depth of field. I wanted to capture the preparation before the workout, what steps are taken, was there a routine, etc. To me this picture is the most important to the story, it shows that his goal was already accomplished in being in the one place he set out to be.
Depth of field. Before a workout choosing the right music to get your mind focus and in the zone is key. This picture shows how specific music can dictate your entire workout.
Depth of Field. The break before the final rep, the intensity that it takes to keep pushing. I wanted to give the expression "mind over matter" a face. In this picture I see someone determined to keep going and going.
Depth of Field. Brakes are essential, especially when you're lifting heavy. This picture shows that rest is important. It's good to stop for a second and let your body recover so you can keep going.
Depth of field. When I look at this picture I see an image about will and fight. The amount of weight followed by his facial expression shows that this set may be out of his comfort zone. But his will won't let him not attempt to get better and stronger so he pushes through the set in hopes to reach the next level.
Depth of field. They say "iron sharpens iron",  where here's a great example of how words of encouragement from friends can be another way to help you push through.
Depth of field. In this particular moment his girlfriend called, overwhelmed with excitement he took a moment to indulge in some more motivation as to his words "she's the reason I go so hard". 
Depth of field. Fight, Fight, Fight, that's what I see when I look into his eyes, I see someone not willing too quit nor make an excuse. I see a dawg, a lion, somebody who take what they doing serious as a heart attack.

Depth of field. The end of a great workout, the place where solitude and freedom meet. Don't get so consumed with others life that you forget to take a piece out for you.
