These benches in Green Hill park sit outside a pagoda overlooking Green Hill Pond. There is unity and rhythm between the pattern of the bricks and the posts of the fences. This is a popular sitting spot to watch boaters, or just to get a panoramic view of the pond.

This tree grate in Downtown Worcester has a pattern of shapes that highly contrast with the brick patterns of the sidewalks. These grates hold the tree in place to avoid overgrowth and preserve the life of the tree from the elements of the concrete jungle. There is a rough metal texture to these grates, indicating how old they are.

The Vietnam War Memorial has several pillars containing letters from soldiers that were sent home to their loved ones. There is balance here as there are several more of these pillars set up in a Stonehenge type fashion. The left two of these pillars rise out of the ice in the winter, or out of the water in the summertime.

Next to the Hanover Theatre, La Jolie Fleur flower shop is prepared for the holidays with decorative wreaths. The store front is floor to ceiling glass panes with bold, clean lines. The building lets in a lot of natural light that reflects off the store front.
