#DOLOMIA_TR concept
Designed to symbolize a new design language proposal for outdoor top brand SALEWA, the #DOLOMIA_TR shoe was thought taking cue from original SALEWA motto, "dolomites are our inspiration", as reported in their website.

Other key words mentioned in the brand core values are "purity", "innovation", "tradition" and the will to desgin products capable to change the rules of the game.
So, the design process  started from the amazing dolomites mountains, located along the eastern border in the northern Italy.
Dolomites, part of the UNESCO World Heritage List, are worldwide recognisable due to the beatiful sharpness of their peaks, which almost fight the laws of gravity, sometimes scarily hovering people walking, biking or driving below them.
 
Extreme roughness of these incredible mountains has been translated into the design language of the #DOLOMIA_TR shoe that features no compromise ultra aggressive and dynamic lines, symbolizing a brand defining its own distinctive style for the future, still having in mind the elements where its roots are well planted.
Sharp angular design elements work very well to define an innovative, functional and lightweight product, staying true to the core values of the brand.
 
Remembering the inspiration of this concept, #DOLOMIA_TR name is due to dolomia mineral which forms dolomites rocks, while TR stands for trail runner.
 
A few different colourways have also been displayed below, showing how easily this design can carry different colour themes, ranging from natural tones to vibrant neon-like hues.
