Brief:
Once Upon a Time is a new bookstore founded by Ana María Mora, exclusively dedicated to children's literature. Beyond being a literary space, the bookstore also features a small cafe where both adults and children can share delightful desserts while indulging in their passion for literature.
The objective is to create a brand identity and personality that resonates with the children's audience, inviting them to embark on the beginning of a story.
-
The Solution:
The initial focus was on naming the project. After a thorough study and various naming proposals, the client chose the current name, emphasizing its association with the beginning of children's stories. This reference holds a special place in children's hearts as their first literary encounter.
Following the naming, the design process involved creating a playful and distinctive logo. The chosen symbol features an elephant on a unicycle, representing the whimsical start of a story along with the bookstore's name.
Further, a series of illustrations were developed to accompany the brand, featuring characters Emilio and Don Ratón in various situations. Throughout the project, creative advice was provided for the interior design of the premises, led by the bookstore's founder.
This comprehensive approach addressed the client's needs, resulting in a brand and characters that captivate and inspire storytelling.

The Result:
"I loved working with Letty. From the beginning of the project, she was an ally and creative partner who managed to create the brand I dreamed of. 100% recommended."
