Fredrick, a vinyl figure, is somewhat of a passion project. As someone who loves collecting vinyl figures, I wanted to design and make a vinyl figure brand that was for collectors and people who get them for fun as well! The small paint cans are ‘blind boxes’, where its unknown which figure design you’ll be getting. While the bigger paint can is for, ‘design your own’, a blank figure with some starting tools to color it. I went with a paint can for a basic package to design on, as the designs for the blind boxes are based on paint or color splatter, while paired with the idea of designing your own figure, felt like it made sense. Fredrick, the little character that can be found in many designs was crafted to be a little fun character that wants to be your friend and cheer you on.
