Football Beyond Borders

FBB supports young people from disadvantaged backgrounds who are passionate about football but disengaged at school, in order to help them finish school with the skills and grades to make a successful transition into adulthood.

We worked with FBB and their existing logo on a brand refresh to help create a more cohesive identity which included an updated colour palette, photography, typography and a variety of graphical treatments to help bring some of the personality of the culture the charity has created to the forefront.

A completely bespoke hand-rendered iconography pack was created which was inspired by the young people involved in the charity. The icons bring real versatility to the brand and can be combined with typography or imagery in order to create interesting and unique compositions.

A typographic system was created which allowed headlines to be generated in a structured way, whilst bringing diversity with each piece of messaging.

Deliverables use a combination of imagery treatments, typography and hand-written lettering. The result is a bold and vibrant identity to celebrate strength and confidence.

We built an identity framework that could deliver the message of FBB across every channel and touchpoint, on and offline. An identity that could carry FBB on their journey from two people to a hundred, and even further.

We brought the identity into the digital presence with unique typography layouts and hand-rendered brand assets to ensure the bold personality runs through every single touchpoint, online and off.
