Durban Ultimate
DISC SPORTS.
Durban Ultimate is the association of disc sports in the greater Durban area, South Africa.
Self charge with the maintenance, advancement, and promotion of disc sports in Durban.
The Final Logo.
The design was an update of the original logo, keeping the elements and colours of the original
but updating the feel and overall look (original logo is left).
I simply loved the fact that you could separate the wording into anagrams and so by highlighting letters we could see bot DBN ULTI (sort for both words) and UR A MATE which is a lovely message for the community in Durban, Spirit and friendship. Therefore alternates of the logo were designed.
Sub Project: The Bunnies.
Using the above logo I designed a new logo and kit for the main team in Durban,
The Bunnies (Prawn Bunnies)
The Logo.
incorporating the beach sunset background with the Durban Ultimate colours with the eye catching bunny illustration.
The New Kit.
This would be worn by the teams playing on a national level and therefore sound incorporate the DU logo.
Two colours would be needed by the teams for tournaments (both light and dark).
