This product was the result of a start up company in Cape Town. The hand crafted natural ceramic and cork detailing bring warmth and softness to the tech-heavy world we live in today.
Aimed at resting in your peripherals, Revive brings effortless charging to your device.
Throughout this project, I lead a team of designers through the process of product development. This involved ideation, conceptualisation, prototyping and product manufacture.
Product packaging
The packaging maintained the minimal feel of the product aesthetic while ensuring a premium and satisfactory user experience.
Details
Much like the contrast between black and white, the cork detail brings a soft feel to the hard ceramic body. The cork on the top surface provides a dedicated area for your mobile device, while the cavity to the side invites your favourite piece of jewellery or small desk items.
The electronics are mounted in place with a pigmented resin, while the cork foot brings stability and comfort as the product is placed on a flat surface.
