The redesigned LGBTQ Resource Center website was created around the Center’s mission to foster a sense of community and to empower students to be themselves. I've strategically created rainbow imagery while still conforming to the University of Houston’s brand guidelines- a creative, yet challenging direction. The website also has imagery that adequately represents the university’s diverse population and was thoroughly reviewed for accessibility usage to ensure all users, regardless of ability, shared the same experience.
The website was purposely designed to steer users to the Center’s education, involvement, and support services to increase awareness of these programs and to increase student involvement with the Center as well as the campus community.
