Figuring out the look of each fairy in a simple form that would make the pins simple and readable. 

A preliminary sketch of the pins, before I decided to make them into cuff pins.

Deciding on the packaging placement of the pins since each backing would have to hold two pins each. 

Deciding on the background for each fairy, trying to correlate them with their respective theme. Daisy has flowers, Moon has the moon and stars, and Berry gets berries. 

Deciding that the fairies needed their wings to actually make them look like fairies without having to make it a bust pin. Also the rough designs of their wands.
