Apartment NL2 is located on the seventeenth floor of a skyscraper “Novopecherskie Lipki” in Kyiv. The apartment was designed for a married couple with a school age child. The task was to design and develop a modern space using natural materials.
The entrance hallway is the first thing we capture upon entering. The hallways hidden storage systems is a wardrobe and also a transit to adjacent rooms. There are several apartment’s zones – a common daytime and nighttime zones.
The kitchen, dining room and living room is combined into one daytime zone. The elements of furniture perform the function of invisible boundaries and divide the space into zones. A private cabinet with an adjoining terrace is located behind the kitchen-living room area, while a children´s room is located to the left side of the cabinet. The spacious and comfortable office allows the client to carry out his work right from home. The children’s room looks bright and calm. It is equipped with everything necessary, both for relax and educational processes of the child. A master-bedroom and the children’s room are divided by a master-bathroom and a dressing room. The master-bedroom has an extra shower room.
The team together with the client have chosen natural high-quality materials and products for the apartment’s filling. Several art-objects and selected decorative lighting complement and create the atmosphere of comfort. The client had a demand for the quality of furniture and technical filling of the rooms, so the interior was equipped with products of several famous world brands.
Upon the completion of the project, we get a neat, discreet interior for the family. Wood and stone are the dominant materials in the interior. High technology facilitates everyday routines and also provides an opportunity for relax. It was comfortable to work together with the client, so the result met the expectations of the family.
