Legendary Hungarian sneaker brand tisza’s SPORT model was originally introduced in 1985.

This obscure model is an early-eighties running shoe with super quirky details.

Tisza asked us to use the basic themes of the original model found in their archives and give it a fresh, but timeless look.

The design process started with many sketches where we reimagined the original sneaker as a contemporary model.

We kept the essential elements as the window with the woven logo and the iconic stripes,

and kept the 80s style “SPORT” typography on the heel tab.

After the decision on the final concepts we have assisted the pre production process evaluating and perfecting the prototypes and choosing the right colors and materials. At the end of the process our team designed the visual identity for the new model.
