Banana is an important sub-tropical fruit in international trade. It undergoes significant textural and colour transformations during ripening process, which in turn influences the eating quality of the fruit. We make a poster that gathered information through infographic visual to help viewers pick the perfect hand of bananas easily.
Life cycle as banana
Bananas have their own life cycle like humans. It begins with a dark green followed by delicious yellow and finally ends with an unpleasant brown colour.
To make an impact on the way information given to the audiences, we use banana as a metaphor to describe human life’s circle by means of combining the word “蕉(banana)” which consists of “人(human)”and “生(life)” , turning it into a logo on the top right corner of the poster.
At the same time, we use the principle of light and shadow to reflect ripening process of the banana, establishing a resonance through the shadow.
