The tools and instruments that are available to graphic artists considerably impact their design. Technological evolution has always affected designer's work and as a result of these changes, the graphic designer role has evolved, as well as methods and gestures.​​​​​​​

Technology shapes our perception of the world and, as McLuhan stated, each medium is like an extension of the human body. It’s been roughly 30 years since the desktop computer revolutionized the way the graphic design industry works. Before that, it was the hands and analog methods to brought type and image together. To bring the human side of production alive, I decided to design a poster in which digital tools find their analog equivalent, in a dialogue between past and present.
