This is a brief which i have found on internet.
My role-User interface design
Brief
Maynooth furniture is a new business selling affordable high-end design furniture made in Ireland.
Private objective
To build a e-commerce website for people to buy and purchase furniture for home delivery.
CASE STUDY
PERSONA
After analyzing the persona,i came to assumption that Katherine prefers high quality furniture. And the website also should reflect the same.
For inspiration i had gone through websites such as pinterest,behance and dribble.
After going through some projects i have made some rough wire frames for the same on paper.

At the initial stage i thought of keeping the colour palette similar to that of logo for consistency.keeping the logo colours in mind,i have gone through adobe colours to check the trending colour palette.I have found similar palette and added some new colours.
I wanted the website to be having minimal characters.So I did some research online for font selection and font pairing.At last i found a balanced font pairing between Roboto and open sans.

after testing with colours ,i understood that the background is getting more focus than the content.so i decided to use less number of colours so that i can have contrast between the products and colours.
i was stuck when decided the colours and fonts.I had gone through some YouTube tutorials and all of them said one common stage of design process i.e to create a "Mood board".
i collected the images from different websites such as pinterest,behance,dribble.
By doing the mood board i got more clear about the type of website i need to design for my persona.As well as i got a consistent colour palette for the website.
i thought of giving multiple colours for different ways off communication.But later i decided to give colours from the finalized colour palette to give a consistent look for the overall website.
i didn't do much change for the fonts.But i have added one font called "edwardian scrpt".I thought this font could get the focus of the people towards certain words.
based on these research and process,i started creating the final designs.
