KB19 Peek Freans Emerging Artist Prize
Karachi Biennale has specifically created a platform to recognize a young interdisciplinary artist under 30 with extraordinary ability to envision the KB19 theme, Ecology. This opportunity was created to encourage and introduce a new generation of exceptional Pakistani artistic talent.
The KB19-Peek Freans Emerging Artist Prize has been conducted in 3 phases. Phase 1, which was the Open Call, completed in December 2018, which led to proposal submissions, completed in January 2019.

The campaign design features geometric, abstract lines, shapes and forms. They were animated to rise and appear in a chronological fashion to signify the 'Emerging Artist' concept. Colour palette was chosen for its bold and attractive look in order to appeal to a younger audience. The campaign was kept bilingual, and promoted across digital and on-ground channels through digital marketing and print posters.
