Styling in Second Life Virtual World by Pearl Pospiech for the Mystic Midway's Immersive Social Theater
Thought I'd set the tune while you get comfortable.
The Mystic Midway, a social theater troupe based in San Francisco, has been inspiring deeply transformative experiences for guests of its live productions under the leadership of Scott Levkoff since 2000?.
There is already a set of cards much like a tarot deck that invite guests to use the characters and concepts of the Mystic Midway in solving real-world challenges.
The purpose of the Swamp Shack is to help guests release their fears by naming and "feeding" them to Mr. Nobody.

The goal of the VR project is to inspire mythic poetic experiences accessible to anyone in the world through immersive storytelling using digital technology.

"You begin in the bayou, among cypress trees, being led by a shadowy figure in a mutant vehicle to the dock of a decrepit swamp shack. It's an apocalyptic base camp for someone. The frogs are deafening, and there is a crocodile swimming too close for comfort, so you decide to take your chances. Swatting insects as you go, you make your way into the home of who-knows-who."
