This was a submission for DNAD according to the brief given by It's Nice That, a publishing platform founded in 2007 by a student at Brighton University.

 

The project was a collaboration between me and Rendy Putra.

 

The challenge was to create something new and exciting so that It's Nice That could stay engage with their audiences.

 

Our idea was simple. Both of us enjoy street art and we are heavily influenced by the street culture. Hence, we integrated that similarity of ours into this brief. Making use of the different aspects of art, we created icons or characters that represent each of this different fields (eg. illustration, digital art, photography). Using these characters/icons, we made posters and stickers which we placed in different locations to create an awareness to the public. Since our influence comes from the street, we bring our project back into the streets.
