Maximize Your Vertical Jump Training - Use These Tips to Gain Inches on Your Vertical Leap

Jump Training is the most important thing in any athletes training system. It is very important to combine the 2 aspects of the perfect jump. Strength is very important. Quickness makes a huge difference. The 2 aspects alone do nothing to improve your jump, but the 2 together equal explosion! Here are 3 things that will hep you develop both Strength and Quickness.
1. Diet
It is important that you take in the right nutrition to maximize your training. When you are working out hard you really need to think about what you are using to fuel your body. An extreme workout requires a lot of carbs and protein.
Without carbs you don't have the energy necessary to get the most out of your workout. Without protein your body cannot built the muscle needed to develop strength.
2. Rest
Constantly training is very bad when trying to improve your jump height. You need to have at least 3 days a week between training to rest. If you are constantly working your muscles, your muscle will never be able to recover from the previous workout and you will find that eventually your results will die down.
3. Train
When training you need to focus on workouts that will increase strength but not ruin your quickness. For developing quickness you can do sprints and simple quick jumping workouts. Weight training is a great way to incorporate both strength and quickness training in the same workout.
