This photo table is a prototype which has been created for the International Ceramic Studio in Hungary. Considering the circumstances we had to design a table that is easy to move, can be disassembled and affordable. Sustainability was one of our main goals, for this reason we placed great emphasis on the material usage. We needed only one piece of plywood to manufacture the product and avoided using any glue or toxics. A CNC milling machine cut out the parts wich can be joined by wood dowels. A 3 mm thick opal plexiglas provides the background surface. It is strong enough to hold the art pieces and can be illuminated through in order to flash out shadows.
