DESKTOP ALTAR
2019
My desktop is the place where I spend most of my time, either drawing, working on the computer or even eating lunch. It is an eclectic space that gets chaotic and tidy as the day moves along yet there are some elements that remain untouched and which only purpose is to protect my desktop, surveilling the creative process: the elements that constitute my personal desktop altar.
An oyster shell from the beaches of San Sebastian, three shells from a remote beach, an inky nib pen, the backbone of a German goat, a purple Agate, an origami bird my sister gave me four years ago, a skull-shaped eraser from Van Gogh’s Museum in Amsterdam and a plant whose name I forgot.
