Critical and analytical skills are constituents of problem solving skills. This game forms the second part of the MoonWhizz toolkit which aims at helping students develop essential problem solving abilities. Space exploration is the theme for the toolkit because of its associations with science, mathematics and invention. The toolkit uses a variety of bright colours, combined with black and white to emulate the galaxy. Cyberspace Runway is the typeface used for headings, whilst Avenir is used in body copy for readability and complementary purposes. Repetition is the design element that is central to the toolkit and is stylistically applied in patterning and game-play; the player needs to interpret patterns to solve the given problems. Lastly, the use of imaginative and playful illustrations is used to encourage engagement of young audiences.
