Bissell Companies is a commercial land development / property management company. They helped build the SouthPark area, as well as built the notorious area in South Charlotte known as Ballantyne. Currently, they own and maintain 4.5 million square feet of office space and over 1.8 million square feet of retail development in the SouthPark area. In addition, they also continue to expand, build and maintain The Ballantyne Corporate Park in Ballantyne, which consists of over 3 million square feet of office space, four hotels including a luxury hotel (The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge, Courtyard Ballantyne, Staybridge Suites Ballantyne and Aloft Charlotte Ballantyne), golf school, and golf course.
Below are a few samples of projects I completed, from design to the completed to final product, while employed by Bissell Companies.

The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge's
Cocktail Drink of the Month
Each month The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge offers a specialty cocktail to their guests. The cocktail of the month shown below is February. These cocktail cards were 4" x 6" printed in-house on a xerox printer on card stock, hand cut and placed in a black 4" x 6" table tent. All photography was taken by the on staff Bissell Photography group. The cards were then displayed at the Veranda Bar and Gallery Bar located in The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge.

In addition to the monthly drink card, I was responsible for the layout and appearance of The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge's Monthly Events Newsletter. The newsletter lists the events being hosted at the Hotel, The Spa, The Golf Club and Gallery Restaurant & Bar throughout the month. The hotel invites guest to be involved with activities at the Hotel as well as around Charlotte, NC.
This newsletter was printed in-house on 8.5" x 11" white card stock front and back, then placed in each guest room at the hotel. All text was written by the Public Relations Manager at The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge. Images were supplied by Bissell Photography, Shutterstock.com, and Shain Gallery.

Grand Opening of The Blue Taj

In addition to designing and maintaining the brand standards of the four hotels, I occasionally was requested to design advertisements to be displayed in 36 plus elevators around The Ballantyne Corporate Park.
Below is an ad I created for The Blue Taj opening in Ballantyne Village. All images and logo was supplied by The Blue Taj. The ad was printed in-house from a xerox printer on 8.5" x 11 white card stock and then placed in 36 plus elevators around the corporate park. The ad was displayed for a week.

Ballantyne's Chili & Politics Logo
Below is the logo I created for The Annual Ballantyne Chili & Politics event. This event is held every year in November before Election Day. Many of the local candidates running in the upcoming election attend the event. This gives candidates the opportunity to campaign to their local residents before Election Day. In addition to campaigning, many restaurants and organizations sign up to compete in the annual Chili Cook Off. At the event, attendees can meet with the candidates as well as taste numerous types of chili.
The logo was used on banners, as seen below, the newspaper (The Charlotte Observer), The Ballantyne Magazine and on aprons, which all the candidates received to wear at the event.

He is an arranger, composer and producer and is a voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. The music he creates is positive, mature and very meaningful as his passion for life is woven into every song he crafts. His talent as a singer is matched by his songwriting and production skills. Having diverse musical tastes enables him to create music in varying styles and genres. His CD, Stand Strong, is one of six projects which showcases his unique ability.

Upon completing the Tziyon brand logo, I designed the album cover for Tziyon's newest album, Stand Strong. It was important to the client to incorporate his newest brand logo, as the release was not only of his newest songs, but his new branding.
The client hired a freelance photographer to shoot the photographer prior to the beginning of the project.
