A Pre-Viz movie showing all the camera movements that were going to be done in post.

The majority of the commercial was done using still photography. Pro players and actors were suspended on cables and stands. This method would allow us to take the photos and then texture map them over 3D wire frames. This allowed us to control the camera placement anywhere in the environment.

First initial roughs of camera movement and focus.

The use of this method allowed us to have extreme flexibility in post. Detailed close-ups without having to sacrifice camera placement was a must for this commercial. Because the entire process is CGI and executed in post, playing around with the camera positioning and changeing focal points were very efficient.
