A Typographic Exposure
for Type 2 @ AAU

 

This book uses a photo-negative and photo-cyan concept to display and explain the Trade Gothic typeface. The clean yet striking type and simple illustrations contrast well with the textured backgrounds, giving a contemporary but grungy feel to the book. The callouts are hand drawn arrows and circles, meant to mimic those found on contact sheets back in the days of film photography.
