Treasured, Concept Store - FITCH live brief 2013

This project was a live brief set by Fitch London. The task was to 'Transform the face of the british high street' and create a new concept to fill one of the many empty units that line our once busy streets. My concept derived from trends to do with online shopping such as ebay and asos marketplace.

High street brand prices are constantly increasing yet the shelf life of our latest trends are short lived.
Many people buy new items and wear it once never to be seen again.

My Concept is a place where people can bring these  garments they once treasured in return for things they are yet to treasure. Users can bring in their preloved clothes in good condition and swap them for something else.

A place where money doesnt exist and is open the hours that suit you. A unique personal shopping experience, where you are free to browse, touch and try on items you may have seen the month earlier on the highstreet but couldnt justify that extra fifty pounds! Treasured gives you the chance to contribute to the local community in exchange for whatever you pick in return. A guilt Free way to shop!

Easy returns and a Stamp based paying system makes a fun way to fund your material needs. Back street boutiques are invited to pay a fee to have their catalogues featured in the seating area. Educating consumers of the hidden Treasures that arent directly on the highstreet.
