SELF-INITIATED
#coolspiritool is a series of posters about spirituality. Featuring quotes by the Sufi poet Rumi, this self-initiated project is a tribute to the mysticism and wisdom from our homeland. Poetry, as a deconstructed form of language, is an excellent subject for graphic design where text meets with image. Designed in a contemporary, “cool” aesthetic, #coolspiritool aims to introduce Rumi to a younger audience. We used Adobe XD for this project, which is not typical a software for designing posters. However, its limitations allowed us to create simple designs that highlight the deeply meaningful poems.
