This project was completed as coursework for ART 336: Design and Technology II at UMBC. The project called for the student to create a website based on an author and a select volume of his/her literary work.
 
I chose Mark Z. Danielewski's "House of Leaves" because it has been one of my favorite books I've ever read and I felt that I could capture the grit and terror that the book encompasses through the use of strong typography and startling imagery.

 

The actual site itself is still a WIP so if you have a screen that is larger or smaller than 1680x1050 there maybe some distorted dimensions.
