CONNECTORS- A metal sheet shelf
Theme: Flat pack objects/ DIY. The Connector is made up of multiple single units of identical triangular pieces, that can be joined with hinges made on the pieces without using any fasteners. This shelf can be hanged and used to keep flower pots, small showpieces, small utility items, a shoe rack or anything you want. This can be used as a book organizer as well when kept side ways on the table. It’s use is open to explorations.
The metal sheet shelf came about as an iteration of the cardboard book stand made with similar triangular pieces. It is made up of 6 pieces forming a hexagon which unrolls into a book stand.
The hinges without fasteners
This metal sheet shelf consists of pieces joined with hinges made by folding metal sheet and making slits at the corners. They slide into each other and moves at specified angle.
The Flexibility of the structure
The hinges are given holes to pass rope through it. This makes the whole structure flexible and prevents sliding out.
