Drop is a medical solution designed to simplify the treatment of diabetes easily, pleasantly and close to the user through four areas that create a better user experience: straightforward interaction and easily interpretable data, glucose monitoring and insulation administration through non-invasive systems, fewer devices needed to follow treatment and communication between users.
HOW IT WORKS

The system offers a continuous flow of information between devices through data transmission. The wearable has a built-in biosensor that allows glucose to be monitored non-invasively using reverse iontophoresis (electrochemical enzyme sensors). The system works by the introduction of ions from active substances through the skin, using 2 electrodes. Driven by a haptic motor, the vibration of the wearable alerts the user if their levels are unstable. The data received is translated into a code of icons and colours that enables children and adults to interpret their glucose levels easily. The injector works using pressure technology, which means that insulin is injected with an invisible and painless jet; the insulin is delivered at a high pressure and penetrates the skin with a fine flow of liquid that loses resistance and spreads evenly throughout the subcutaneous layer of the skin.

I sketched out proposals that reduced diabetic kits into a light and compact object, but I also took a look at the proposal I was developing and changed the design to help find a solution that would not only reduce the necessary components for treatment but that would also give these people a better quality of life. I then began to consider the range of products, which has been developed in line with their technical and formal requirements.
