Artisanal Chocolate and Augmented Reality

This was an assignment for a fourth-year graphic design and multimedia course. I was required to choose a South African artisanal chocolate company and combine the projects of both illustration and multimedia into one project. For the illustration part, I had to make two illustrations for the packaging of two flavors of the chocolate company and an illustration for a stall for the point of display for a chocolate and coffee expo. For both the illustration and the multimedia I had to create a ‘story world’ that reflected the target market and values of the chosen artisanal chocolate company. For the multimedia part, I had to take the story world further into transmedia storytelling, which in turn I have to take even further into an interactive, augmented reality. The chocolate brand I chose was the Nutter’s Brittle company.
