Marlowe
Philip Marlowe is a character created by the american writer Raymond Chandler, who is also the protagonist of a series of crime stories that gave rise to the film classic "The Big Sleep" - a movie that coined the aesthetic of the film noir genre.
This project was created for the launch of a new edition of the books. The covers were created with a style that evokes the feeling of mystery present in the films.
The art style was inspired by illustrations by legendary graphic designer Saul Bass.
