I made this Project inspired by the De Stijl movement and Pop Art. I used colors from the directors' color palette or as a reference to their most known movies. In the same way I designed and used patterns as a reference to directors' most known movies or their style. With these small details, I aimed to bring a story and a depth to the simple-designed posters. The hardest part in this project was drawing the directors' facial features with as few lines as possible. When I started this project, I couldn't predict that the simplicity would be so difficult. I hope you like the project.

Poster tasarımlarında kullandığım bu yeni stili, de stijl hareketinden ve pop arttan ilham alarak ortaya çıkardım. Renkleri, yönetmenin renk paletinden veya çok bilinen filmlerine referans olarak seçip kullanmaya özen gösterdim. Aynı şekilde pattern’leri de yönetmenin film tarzına veya çok bilinen filmlerine referans olacak şekilde tasarlayıp kullandım. Bu küçük detaylar ile basit bir tasarıma sahip olan posterlere küçük bir hikaye ve derinlik kazandırdırmayı amaçladım. Projede en zorlandığım kısım, mümkün olduğunca az çizgi ile yönetmenlerin yüz hatlarını çizmek oldu. Projeye başlarken basitliğin bu kadar zor olacağını tahmin etmemiştim. Umarım beğenirsiniz.
