Growing My Second Life

We need species that help us spread the mycoremediation, to clean the chemicals that we are spreading from waste.
How could be this medium start?
Do you know that humans have more than 200 toxins in our body? When we die we are buried in cemeteries contaminating nature even more with our body.
Why not grow mushrooms with human bodies?
Remediating the toxins that humans have, and then spreading species of mycelium to tackle pollution in nature.

Guided by Jae Rhim and her Death Suit (Lee, 2011). It is a suit that has in it previously trained mycelium to digest your toxins after you die. Educating mycelium with human natural material hair or nails that create the enzymes, so then after the person dies it will be able to digest its contaminations.

I took my project a step further, transforming the significance of human death. Where your life does not finish when you die, after you are transformed into a mushroom that is spread into nature neutralizing contamination from waste remediating toxic pollutants. Repairing the future for the rest.
Here you can see how I am training an Oyster mycelium with my beard, so it would create the correct enzyme to break down my DNA for then when I die, it would be able to because he was previously trai- ned. Creating a mycoremediation process very similar that one made with the cigarette butts.
Human pollution data: The amount of contamination that they generate and the average toxins that they have in their bodies when they die.
Creating a concept of growing your future after death. Where you can feed, grow and see what you will be in the future. Changing the way to experience the idea of death.

Generating a personal way to be prepared for death, being conscious of it but looking at it in a positive way as something normal and not like the final stage of your life. A new step to help the rest of living humans.

Cemeteries will no longer be a sad place, they will be now a place of connection between nature and our ancestors. Seeing people transformed by another species of life, and how they are helping us to repair the world.
In conclusion, this experiment helped me realize the power my project that can have remediating pollution in different areas, more than cemeteries and cigarette butts. Looking forward to designing a system/product that help industry, restaurants, shops, houses, etc, to clean the nature and regenerate material from waste.

How mycelium can decompose humans toxins I need to use as an attraction point of the whole project that is not only focused on people is focused on all types of contaminants.
Finally learning that my project is about growing a second life throw the regeneration of material with everything not only humans, could be a cigarette butt, a packaging, oil, etc
Capsule of mycelium that is incerted in the growing my legacy incubator.

Renders of the futuristic idea of growing your legacy incubator.
Real prototype of growing you legacy incubator.
