Les Serpents

Le Théâtre de l'Opsis m'a contacté pour faire la nouvelle photo promotionnelle de leur nouveau spectacle Les Serpents présenté à l'Espace Go.

Après une discussion sur le texte et sur la direction que les clients souhaitaient prendre, nous souhaitions avoir une ambiance menaçante et inquiétante mais avec un côté étrange. Nous en sommes venus à la conclusion qu'il fallait recréer un champ en studio. Faire la séance dans un vrai lieu aurait amené un pan trop réaliste à la photo et nous aurait fait passer à côté de l'objectif. D'où le ciel nuageux qui se mélange avec la toile de fond dans le haut de l'image.

Pour le teaser du spectacle, nous avons gardé l'effet studio que nous avions pour la photo tout en y incorporant des ambiances réelles en guise de souvenirs.

The Théâtre de l'Opsis contacted me to make the new promotional photo of their new show Les Serpents presented at Espace Go.

After a discussion of the text and the direction that customers wanted to take, we wanted to have a threatening and disturbing atmosphere but with a strange side. We came to the conclusion that we had to recreate a field in the studio. Making the session in a real place would have brought a too realistic side to the picture and would have made us miss the objective. Hence the cloudy sky that mixes with the backdrop at the top of the image.

For the teaser of the show, we kept the studio effect we had for the photo while incorporating real atmospheres as souvenirs.
