Cup and plate progress

First I made my cup and I did that by cutting a slab into a long rectangle and cutting the edge at a angle and then I score and slipped them together. Then I traced the bottom and added a piece that fit over the bottom.then I rolled a piece that looks like a tentacle and core and slipped that on there. Then I added the suction cups. Then I used a mold for the plate and used that same process as the handle for the legs.
There is emphasis on the octopus theme because you’re eyes are drawn to the tentacle handle and feet because that is not normal for a cup or plate,
I saw a mug like this on Pinterest and I loved it. I knew I wanted to do something that involved the sea because I love the ocean. I thought the octopus was a good idea because of how vibrant octopus’ are,
I rally like how this piece turned out. I think I did a good job using the plate molds and making the tentacle for the handle. Next project I want to work on making everything smooth and even.
