Arc Tap

ARC TAP
INCLUSIVE DESIGN
Arc Tap is a tap designed to accommodate a wide variety of users, including left-handed as well as right-handed people, the elderly, people with motor and/or visual difficulties, and small children.
The lever-style interface’s easy push-pull movement makes it more comfortable for people with motor problems to use.
The outer lever controls water flow and the inner lever controls temperature.
The innovative mouth of the faucet releases a hollow cylindrical stream of water, reducing water usage.  In addition, the mouth of the faucet includes an opening where soap is dispensed directly from the faucet, eliminating the need for a separate soap dispenser and making hand-washing more convenient.
Arc Tap features an integrated soap dispenser that saves water.  The same lever that controls water flow, when pulled, inherently turns off the water flow and then dispenses soap.
To refill the soap reservoir, simply dislocate the cylindrical cover to either side and pour soap into the opening.  The symmetrical reservoir cover is comfortable for both left- and right-handed users.
