Guinness Rugby Sevens Digital Activation (Hong Kong)

The Hong Kong Rugby Sevens is one of the biggest events in the city's drinking calendar. This was the first year Guinness became an official sponsor. Anyone who has ever been to the 'Sevens' will know two things: 1) There is a lot of downtime between matches. 2) leaving your seat to buy drinks at the stadium is a massive hassle and can take forever. Our idea - 'Take a Punt with Guinness' - was to engage them in between every game. Guess the first scorer of each match by SMS for a chance to win 4 pints of Guinness - delivered to your seat.
The plan we presented to the client: Guess the correct score via SMS to win 4 pints of Guinness, served to your seat.
TVC adaptation broadcast on big screen between every game.
