In this work I was inspired by the Haitian voodoo gods like Papa Legba and the New Orleans famous voodoo queen Marie Catherine Laveau.

I used New Orleans voodoo symbols and colors and mixed all of this with street art and comics art aesthetic.

Do you know that the voodoo doll is a magical talisman?
By giving a doll as a gift, you seem to give away a piece of yourself, which shows how you love and trust to your partner. Do you love your partner enough? I sure you do.

Each coaster takes about 5 hours of my work and exist only in one copy.

All my works was drawn on recycled cardboard beer coasters and I have my own technique for making them.
