Dimorfi – A magazine about dynamic identities
Issue 01
An exploration of dynamic brands and coherence through the identities, expressed in a dynamic magazine.
For the cover I have used a technique called scanimation. The cover is wrapped in a grid, and as you slide it sideways each letter is revealed, one by one. I have also included a sliding puzzle and a color-changing logo slide in the magazine.

Clean cover — The letters in «Dimorfi» is one frame each in a scanimation and then mashed into one shape.
I made a grid cover to achieve the scanimation effect. The grid is perfectly customized to the shape.
When you slide the cover, which is wrapped around the magazine, you initiate the scanimation and creates a simple stop motion revealing each letter one by one.
The logo symbol for Visit Nordkyn reacts to the temperature by changing it's color. I recreated this effect in the magazine by adding a colorful sheet behind the page you can slide up and down to change the color.
