Branding
Mayfair Cleaners
Challenge "brand something boring". I decided to turn Mayfair Cleaners into an elevated dry cleaning experience that cares for both you and your clothes. Design choices are influenced by the universal laundry icons found on clothing care tags. Inviting warmth is found in a color palette of stains.

“This project really caught my eye because generally. Cleaners are very overlooked in the design space, and taking the time to approach such a mundane industry and breathe a sophisticated life into it was very exciting to me. Taking the generic wash symbols and reinventing them, then carrying that design language through the logos and all the collateral felt so clever, especially when paired with such a warm and elegant color palette. – Laura Berglund, Pentagram NY.

“First of all, I love the subject matter of this project. This is the first time I’ve seen anyone rebrand a dry cleaner using a completely unexpected aesthetic. The monogram logo is brilliant and gave me an “ah-ha!” moment when I first saw it. Overall, this is an excellent student project and I hope that Mayfair Cleaners adopts this branding” – Alana Louise
