This feminist campaign explores the legacy of women within the rich history of London. The narrative, 'We've always been here', affirms the meaningful roles of women throughout London's history and challenges the misconception that multiculturalism and diversity are solely 21st century issues.
Mind the Gap brings together a poster campaign with interactive in-carriage stickers. The posters playfully turn well known TfL signage, such as LED platform timetables, on their head by altering language to suit the cause of women’s liberation. Each amended sign is paired with an appropriate women’s achievement—contextualising the message for the viewer.
