Our story deals with looking at pollutants sustainably which are produced nevertheless.
Reusing and recycling these pollutants using sustainable process and material.
SOOT by definition is a deep black powdery or flaky substance consisting largely of amorphous carbon, produced by the incomplete burning of organic matter and causing a lot of air pollution.This polluting by-product has been converted into a dye which is clinically tested and can be used to print on textiles of different weights and qualities. This printed SOOT fabric is available in different shades of grey with a unique rich texture. Reducing pollution is synonymous with saving the environment. The outline of this project is to put forth an idea of a conscious world. This is visually represented by the strong use of stark contrast in support of the concept of SOOT.
