Robot-Assisted Female Organ-Sparing Cystectomy

This procedure is a robot-assisted female orgain-sparing cystecotmy. The bladder is removed, but the uterus, including all supporting ligaments, the ovaries, and vagina are spared. This leads to better continence and sexual function outcomes for the patient, but can only be safe in a select patient population at low risk for cancer recurrence or invasion of surrounding organs.

These illustrations were created for and edited into a video explaining the procedure that has been submitted to the American Urologic Association for review. This video features direct surgical footage and narration, and was produced, recorded, and edited by me.
